Discharge: The changing hormones may cause you to have discharge from your vagina. Normal vaginal fluids can vary. It can range from thin and slightly sticky to thick and gooey. It can be clear to white or off-white in color. The amount of discharge can also vary whether during sexual arousal or depending upon where you are in your menstrual cycle. Signs of infection are if there is itching, burning or your vaginal fluid is green, brown or yellow in color. At this point, you should see a doctor.

Menstruation: Every month, the ovary prepares for a fertilized egg to be implanted. An egg is released by an ovary and it travels down the fallopian tube to the uterus. If it is not fertilized by a sperm cell then the uterus begins to shed its lining causing the menstrual flow, more commonly known as a period. During puberty the body begins producing increased levels of certain hormones, like estrogen, in order to promote the maturation and eventual ovulation of an egg. When a young woman begins to menstruate she will have a menstrual cycle for several months before her body begins to ovulate. Most women have a menstrual cycle every month.

Sexual Urges: During puberty you will begin to have sexual thoughts and urges, and begin to feel aroused. Fantasizing about someone is a natural and normal feeling. Although at first it may feel overwhelmingly out of control, as you age it becomes easier to manage.
